The morning of the first Saturday in the last year of scheduled Cambrian line working with Class 25 locomotives. (L) 25064 and 25076 working the 07.35 Euston - Aberystwyth at Welshpool whilst (R) 25315 and 25037 arriving a little later at that station with the 10.10 Aberystwyth - Euston.

(L) 25202 and 25245 prepare to depart Caersws with the 10.10 Euston - Aberystwyth

(C) 25076 and 25064 arrive late at Caersws with the 14.00 Aberystwyth - Shrewsbury. The train passes a DMU that had to be shunted into the passing loop to let the 25s pass, much to the bemusement of its passengers.

(R) 25076 and 25064 run round the train at Shrewsbury to work the 14.00 Aberystwyth - Shrewsbury forward to Wolverhampton as a passenger service due to the late running.
