The 07:44 Shrewsbury - Aberystwyth terminated at Machynlleth and 25298 and 25320 ran round the train to form the 10:45 Machynlleth - Euston.  The DMU arriving on the up platform is the connecting train from Aberystwyth.  Ongoing passengers had to disembark and cross over the footbridge with their luggage.
